Tony Lavely lives with his lovely, compassionate wife in Massachusetts. Retirement has provided ample time for him to pursue writing as well as other mundane pleasures.

He was privileged to be a part of the Twelve Worlds Anthology for Charity, still available at on-line outlets. This collection of short stories benefits Reading Is Fundamental, and meeting (in an on-linely way) the other authors was great fun and excellent experience. Those guys are great! (‘Guys’ used in the best The Electric Company tradition: “Hey, you guys!”)

He writes in both the fantasy and romantic political thriller genres. The Dragons Run My Life series comprises--wait for it--epic fantasy including strong princesses. This series currently (July, 2024) consists of ten stories and two novellas, with more novels planned for 2024 and beyond (he should live so long!),  to complete the story arc.

The Rebecca Jamse Thrillers (Formerly the Beckie and Ian series) include  political thrillers with more than a soupçon of romance. The cast connects the stories, since most are complete within the book. One published novella begins this series, though it's not actually part of the series. Eight additional tales make up the series. Two additional full-length stories might fill that list.

He reads fantasy and adventure, confidently believes that The Muppet Movie is one of the best movies ever made, and his iPod playlist includes works from Beethoven to Twisted Sister.
